In this way we guarantee a stable position on the market and a promising future for our company and our employees.https://delta-engineering.be/Senior Electrical EngineerYour role:As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming innovative machine concepts into reliable, highperformance electrical systems. Acting as the technical owner of the electrical design, you will bridge project requirements and practical implementation, ensuring that every machine is engineered according to the highest quality and safety standards.
Your

responsibilities:
Electrical design and project planning
• Starting from the conceptual phase, you will participate in the project design meetings where you will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• You create realistic project schedules and contribute to the collaborative planning meetings in order to create a realistic project planning.
• After the concept phase, you will take ownership of the electrical descriptions: you will translate the draft electrical descriptions and specifications into clear and detailed guidelines for the electrical hardware design of the project.
• Based on these electrical descriptions, you will design and adjust the electrical drawings. (Eplan P8).
• You will design the 3D electrical layouts in Eplan Propanel.
• You ensure all designs comply with the applicable standards and regulations (EN60204, MD, EMC, LVD, …).
Execution and collaboration
• Once the design’s finished, you create and update ERP work orders for the customer-specific projects and the masters for standard machines.
• During the assembly process you will follow-up closely with production.
• As a senior, you will also develop, maintain, and continuously improve electrical design guidelines and best practices and ensure all designs comply with the applicable standards.
• You will support your colleagues when necessary and will collaborate with them to review schematics for accuracy.
• You contribute actively to departmental standardization initiatives and gradually take ownership of driving these improvements forward.

Your profile
• You have a Masters degree in industrial sciences in Electromechanics or Electrotechnics or are equivalent by experience.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in Electrical engineering preferably within the machine building industry.
• This means you have a solid knowledge of electrical standards. Knowledge of UL standards is a plus.
• You have good knowledge of Eplan P8. Knowledge Eplan Propanel is a plus.
• You have an analytical mind and are a problem solver.
• You’re a good communicator and a team player in an international environment.
• You have a good knowledge of English and Dutch.
