Profile

• Command of the Italian language equivalent to that of an educated native speaker;
• Appropriate diploma: diploma for teaching mathematics and/or educational support in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education (diploma subject to inspector validation);
• Experience of teaching mathematics especially support;
• Recent experience in secondary education;
• Proven experience of excellent teaching practices and teamwork;
• Ability to teach mixed classes using effective differentiation;
• A high level of professionalism and attention to student wellbeing;
• Willingness to contribute to the life of the secondary school. Preference will be given to a teacher who:
• Has teaching experience in a European or international school;
• Incorporates new technologies as a teaching tool;
• Undertakes to teach from the lower secondary cycle to the baccalaureate cycle (pupils aged 11 to 18);
• Is fluent in another European language.

Offer

• Start date: as soon as possible;
• Gross monthly salary: 320,01 € per weekly teaching period;
• Location: Brussels, Belgium;
• Type of contract: Locally recruited, fixed-term contract (31/08/2027), part-time depending on the needs;
• Regulations for locally recruited teachers in the European Schools

Shortlisted candidates must provide a criminal record extract (model 596-2 - for access to an education-related activity in Belgium or any other similar document for another country of origin) at the interview.

Please note that the selected candidate must register with the Belgian commune (Belgian NISS) before the entry into service, be eligible to work in Belgium (work permit and administrative availability if needed) and that this contract is subject to Belgian tax.

Profil Recherché

• Maîtrise de la langue italienne équivalente à celle d'un locuteur natif instruit ;
• Diplôme approprié : diplôme pour enseigner les mathématiques et/ou le soutien éducatif conformément aux règlements du ministère de l'éducation nationale (diplôme soumis à la validation de l’inspecteur) ;
• Expérience de l'enseignement des mathématiques, en particulier en soutien éducatif ;
• Expérience récente dans l'enseignement secondaire ;
• Expérience avérée d'excellentes pratiques pédagogiques et de travail en équipe ;
• Capacité à enseigner à des classes mixtes en utilisant une différenciation efficace ;
• Un haut niveau de professionnalisme et d'attention au bien-être des élèves ;
• Volonté de contribuer à la vie de l'école secondaire.

La préférence sera donnée à un enseignant qui :
