Financial Controller | Full P&L Ownership | Logistics | Up to €75k/year
After a few years in finance,accountingorcontrolling, you know how a P&L can look fine on paper while the real story sits in the details of revenue versus contract, you know what it takes to keep abudgetingcycle honest through weekly and monthlyforecasting, and you know the value of catching acost driverbefore it becomes a trend. What you have not had yet, isfull ownership of that picture. That is this role.
This is a global provider of supply chain and logistics solutions, active across a wide network of sites and clients. The site finance function plays acentral rolein supportingoperational decision-making, working closely with leadership. You act as the key financial advisor.
- Advising site leadership on financial and controlling matters, with full ownership of the site P&L
- Leading month-end and year-end closing procedures, and maintaining robust internal control systems
- Steering the budgeting process and weekly and monthly forecasting, taking corrective action when needed
- Reviewing revenue against contract terms and collaborating with the site manager and customer on findings
- Working with cross-functional teams to identify cost drivers and improve financial outcomes on site
You are the person leadership turns to before a decision is made, not after.
- Master's degree in Finance, Business Economics or a related field
- 3 to 10 years of experience in finance, accounting or controlling
- Fluent in English with Dutch or French
