Do you have a passion for precision craftsmanship and enjoy working with advanced medical technologies? Join our CADskills production team and play a key role in the manufacturing of patient-specific implants, where attention to detail, quality, and accuracy directly contribute to improving patients' lives.
Your responsibilities
- Manually process and finish patient-specific implants, including support removal, pre-finishing, detailed finishing, and polishing of small and complex geometries.
- Perform sandblasting and surface treatment and verify that the required surface quality and finish are achieved.
- Conduct 3D scans and evaluate scan results to identify deviations from the approved product design.
- Carry out ultrasonic cleaning, clean handling under the LAF cabinet, labelling, identification checks, and preparation and execution of autoclave sterilization in accordance with defined procedures.
- Follow production cases throughout the manufacturing process, coordinate activities and timelines with subcontractors, and inspect returned work.
- Manage, inspect, and track instrument and loan sets, ensuring their availability and proper documentation.
- Maintain complete documentation, identification, and traceability and stop or withhold cases if deviations, damage, non-conformities, or incomplete documentation are identified.
- Prepare and organize shipments to hospitals, customers, and subcontractors and monitor relevant materials and consumables to support a reliable production workflow.
Your qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or completed technical education, preferably in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, manufacturing technology, additive manufacturing, or a comparable technical field; equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
- Around three years of practical experience in an industrial production environment; experience with additive manufacturing, CNC, metal processing, or comparable manufacturing technologies is an advantage.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity, with the ability to perform precise work on small, complex, and sensitive components.
- Good technical understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to understand how individual production steps influence the quality of the finished product.
- Precise, systematic, and quality-conscious working style with a strong understanding of hygiene, contamination control, documentation, and traceability; experience in a regulated environment is an advantage.
- Confident use of digital production and documentation systems; experience with 3D scanning software is an advantage.
- Responsible, reliable, and safety-conscious team player who is comfortable working independently and willing to learn and support different production activities.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
