As a fast-growing producer of pea protein and pea starch in Belgium, we are looking for a Quality Assurance & Control Manager to strengthen our team and help us build excellence in food safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Your role

• Manage and improve our FSSC 22000-certified quality system
• Lead quality assurance and quality control activities across the organization
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, customer requirements, and internal standards
• Manage audits from certification bodies, customers, and authorities
• Analyze quality data, complaints, non-conformities, and implement corrective actions
• Lead continuous improvement projects related to quality and food safety
• Collaborate closely with production, operations, R&D, supply chain, and commercial teams
• Drive a strong quality culture throughout the organization
• Support customer requests, specifications, and documentation

Your profile

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Bioengineering, Quality Management, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance and food safety within the food or ingredient industry
• Thorough knowledge of food safety management systems (FSSC 22000 & HACCP)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Hands-on mentality and willingness to work in a growing scale-up environment
• Fluent in French and English
