YOUR TASKS

  • Your time will be dedicated to research with the goal of preparing a PhD in veterinary cardiology.
  • You will contribute to clinical teaching to our students, mainly during recruitment of follow-up of studypatients in the clinic. You will assist in the supervision of master theses.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You have a Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine.For degrees obtained outside the European Union, a certificate of equivalence from NARIC must be submitted. Diploma requirements must be met by the date of appointment.
  • A completed specialisation course (residency) at ECVIM-ca or a diplomate title is recommended.
  • You are involved in other professional activities and/or you have demonstrable experience that may contribute to the quality of the practice-based teaching at the department.
  • You are interested in a teaching assignment in small animal cardiology.
  • You are interested in academic and/or project-based research and services.
  • Teaching experience or participation in extra training in cardiology are of added value.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

  • We offer you a contract of definite duration of 1 year, renewable to a maximum duration of 2 years.
  • Your contract will start on 1/10/2026 at the earliest.
