We're looking for an experienced Program Manager – Initiative Owner to lead the definition and implementation of a modern enterprise data strategy. You'll work at the heart of a large-scale transformation, collaborating with business stakeholders, data experts, and technology leaders to build innovative data management solutions that empower data-driven decision-making.
This role is ideal for a strategic leader with strong expertise in data management, cloud technologies, Agile methodologies, and enterprise transformation.
Your Responsibilities
- Define and drive a comprehensive enterprise data management strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the implementation of modern data practices, including Data Mesh, Data Products, Data Virtualization, and Self-Service capabilities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify needs and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Design modern data architectures covering ingestion, processing, storage, analytics, and data accessibility.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, including cloud data platforms, data governance tools, data catalogs, and virtualization solutions.
- Define implementation roadmaps, milestones, priorities, and resource planning.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Establish governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, compliance, and accessibility.
- Drive adoption by preparing training plans and supporting business users during the rollout.
- Promote collaboration between business and IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Program Management, Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Data Management.
- Proven experience with Data Mesh, Data Products, and Self-Service Data Platforms.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, security, and modern data architectures.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
- Familiarity with data catalogs, governance tools, virtualization technologies, and data visualization solutions.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Experience leading complex transformation programs in large organizations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Data Science, or Machine Learning is considered an asset.
