Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and excecute comprehensive sourcing strategies to support the company's operational and financial goals.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for the Zele, Roncq and Nivelles facilities.
- Negotiate contracts, establish robust supplier relationships and manage vendor performance to ensure quality, delivery and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Supply Chain and other internal stakeholders to align purchasing activities with production demands and backlog management.
- Monitor market trends, geopolitical impacts and supply chain risks to proactively protect business continuity.
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor and empower a diverse team of buyers across multiple regions.
- Cultivate a culture of mutual respect, open communication and psychological safety within the team.
- Actively guide the team through change, offering clear expectations, regular feedback and constructive perdormance reviews.
- Strictly adhere to and promote corporate HR policies, regulations and the Brady Code of Ethics.
- Act as a role model for inclusive leadership, ensuring that every team member feels valued and heard.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field experience.
- Prove track record (+5 years) in a strategic purchasing/sourcing management role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and developing multi-site or international teams.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of emotional intelligence and conflict-resolution abilities.
- A firm commitment to ethical business practices and corporate compliance.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch and French is highly preffered given the location of the teams.
- Willingness to travel regularly between the Zele, Roncq and Nivelles sites.
