Elia is looking for a Software Asset Management specialist to strengthen IT licence management within the ASP service, which is part of the IT department. The assignment combines administrative, analytical and case-tracking activities. The role provides cross-functional support to the IT, Procurement and Finance teams. Its objective is to ensure reliable and compliant management of the software portfolio.

The assignment covers the complete licence lifecycle, from request and approval through acquisition, deployment, monitoring and renewal. The consultant maintains an accurate database of active, expired, renewable and retiring licences. The role analyzes contracts, terms of use, licence clauses and usage data. These analyses should identify unused, underused or oversized software and lead to optimization proposals.

The role contributes to cost control, licence compliance and continuous improvement of Software Asset Management processes. It establishes indicators for licences, renewals, non-compliance risks and potential savings, and prepares analyses, reports and dashboards for management. Detailed Responsibilities and Skills

Additional Responsibilities

• Manage the complete IT licence lifecycle: request, approval, acquisition, deployment, monitoring and renewal.
• Maintain an accurate, reliable and up-to-date database of active, expired, renewable or retiring licences.
• Analyze contracts, terms of use and licence clauses in collaboration with Procurement, IT and Finance teams.
• Analyze usage data to identify unused, underused or oversized software and propose optimizations.
• Establish and monitor management indicators covering active licences, unused licences, upcoming renewals, non-compliance risks and potential savings.
• Prepare analyses, reports and dashboards to facilitate management decision-making.
• Have at least 3 years of experience in Software Asset Management, licence management, IT procurement, IT Asset Management or a similar role.
