We’re seeking an experienced Product Industrialization Manager to join our Industrialization Team on Louvain-la-Neuve site, the vital link between innovation and production. This team ensures every new flavor formula is seamlessly and efficiently manufactured across our global network. In this role, you will lead the product industrialization team, drive process optimization, and build manufacturing expertise in flavor delivery technologies at our Louvain-la-Neuve site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and develop the Product Industrialization team as a hands‑on manager, balancing people leadership with active involvement in key projects and daily operations.
  • Drive product industrialization from concept to commercialization, leading recipe reviews, pilot trials, scale‑up activities, and first production batches.
  • Serve as a technical expert and project leader, providing guidance and driving site‑level technical and process improvement initiatives.
  • Champion continuous improvement by leading post‑launch reviews and identifying opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, and performance.
  • Partner closely with Product Creators and R&D teams to optimize formulations and ensure a strong "Design for Manufacturing" approach.
  • Ensure industrialization activities are executed with an unwavering focus on safety, quality, compliance, and cost‑effectiveness.
  • Actively contribute to the regional industrialization community, sharing best practices, supporting strategic initiatives, and collaborating with Centers of Excellence (CoEs).

YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent expertise gained through experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment within the food ingredients/flavors, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry. Experience in one of these sectors is required.
  • Experience managing and leading technical teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical expertise combined with a hands‑on, results‑driven approach and a passion for solving complex challenges.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, product scale‑up, and industrialization; SAP knowledge, Lean Manufacturing, and/or Six Sigma certification are strong assets.
  • Collaborative leader and relationship builder with the ability to influence, engage, and align stakeholders across functions and levels.
  • Highly autonomous, organized, and detail‑oriented, with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
