Position Summary

You will support laboratory testing that helps bring important healthcare advances to patients. You will work with a diverse team of scientists and technicians to run experiments, maintain equipment, and record clear results. We value curiosity, care, and precision. Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non‑routine laboratory tests following established procedures and safety rules.
• Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions with accuracy and traceability.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and report equipment issues.
• Record and report experimental data clearly and timely in lab notebooks or electronic systems.
• Follow quality systems, standard operating procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and support daily lab operations.

Basic Qualification

• Completed degree or diploma in laboratory technology, biotechnology, chemistry, biology, or related field.
• Practical experience in a laboratory environment, academic or industrial.
• Good knowledge of basic laboratory techniques, such as pipetting, sample preparation, and aseptic technique.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate data recording.
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is an advantage for local collaboration.
• Able to work on‑site in Belgium; role is primarily on‑site with occasional flexible scheduling as needed.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience with analytical instruments such as HPLC, spectrophotometers, or chromatography systems.
• Familiarity with electronic lab notebooks or laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
• Understanding of quality standards and good laboratory practice.
• Basic knowledge of lab safety regulations and waste handling.
• Experience working in cross‑functional teams and supporting multiple projects.
• Comfortable learning new techniques and willing to participate in training and development opportunities.
