Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Validation Engineer to join our Validation and Simulation team. In this role, you will be responsible for the requirement validation of a specific part or module of one of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Define the validation approach for your domain(s), including virtual validation.
  • Sign-off on the validation results for your domain at SOP or other milestones.
  • Ensure the execution of a part of the extended product design validation test plan and make sure the agreed milestones are being met.
  • Support the rest of the organization with practical knowledge by providing work instructions on specific technical cases for your domain(s).
  • Convert abstract test needs into real test requests.
  • Convert long‑term planning into weekly planning and solve roadblocks that endanger progress to ensure high efficiency.
  • Prepare, coordinate, perform (data) analysis and reporting of development tests.
  • Build up knowledge of testing facilities all over Europe.
  • Work together with different disciplines to solve possible roadblocks.

Qualifications

Background

  • Master in Automotive or Electro‑Mechanical with a strong interest in automotive, or equivalent by experience.
  • Experience in the field of automotive testing and testing facilities.
  • Experience with Hybrid Powertrains and Automatic Transmission is an advantage.
  • Experience in technically leading a team.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive sector.

Competences

  • Strong problem‑solving skills and familiarity with related methods such as 8D. Apply a structured personal work method where preparation is as important as execution.
  • Ability to represent validation within the organization.
  • A fluent level of English (oral and written).
