Role Overview

Royal Antwerp is recruiting a screener and scout for its scouting department. The role mixes remote work, time at the club and regular travel abroad, and is part of building a modern, data-led screening and scouting process. Previous scouting experience helps but is not essential. The advert is written in Dutch.

Role Responsibilities

• Scout matches live, including abroad.
• Analyse and scout players through video.
• Help run the screening process, from defining player profiles to making targeted recommendations.
• Use data to support player identification and evaluation.
• Write clear scouting reports and present findings to the scouting department.

Person Specification

• An affinity with data, ideally a background in data analysis, statistics or a related field.
• Willing to work through both video and live scouting, and to travel to other continents.
• A clear football philosophy and strong analytical skills.
• Able to work independently, plan flexibly and operate in an international setting.
• Several languages would be an advantage.

The club offers close work with the Head of Scouting and the wider recruitment team, and exposure to different markets and football cultures.
