On behalf of our client, a leading Tier 1 (Class 8) contractor, we are seeking a driven Project Leader for a large-scale new-build development in Brussels. The project is being executed in joint venture with a partner contractor. We are looking for a solid Project Leader to take operational control on-site, monitor progress, and possess the authority and maturity to liaise seamlessly between all involved stakeholders.
YOUR ROLE
- On-Site Project Management: Responsible for the daily organization, scheduling, quality, and budget management on site.
- Leadership & Coordination: Directing the internal site team (project engineers, site managers) and managing subcontractors.
- Alignment & Reporting: Coordinating with the joint venture partner contractor on site and handling internal project reporting to the board.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensuring efficient execution while upholding contractual agreements and safety standards.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Background: Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or equivalent through relevant experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager on large-scale residential or office developments.
- Personality: Strong organizational capabilities, excellent communicator, resilient under pressure, and a pragmatic, no-nonsense mindset. Confident on the construction site.
- Languages: Excellent Dutch, with proficiency in French and English.
- Availability: Available on short notice (freelance or permanent basis).
