Job Summary
An internship within External Audit services will allow you to provide assurance services and business advice to a variety of clients, from small fast‑growing businesses to large entities with broad international reach. The role focuses on using the latest technology to reduce manual testing, enhancing corporate governance and the reliability of client information.
Locations
Brussels, Ghent, Antwerp, Liège & Hasselt.
Start Date
From June 2026.
What you’ll learn and do
- Work in an environment that broadens functional training and develops personal and technical skills.
- Play an integral role supporting staff on a wide variety of tasks and contribute to the team daily.
Responsibilities
- Provide assurance services and business advice to clients.
- Perform independent verification of clients' financials and investigate the reality behind their annual accounts.
- Learn about clients’ business and internal control processes and the risks they face.
- Assist in reducing manual testing through the use of the latest technology.
Requirements
- Final year of a bachelor’s (accountancy) or master’s degree in (applied) economics, business studies or commercial engineering. An accountancy or audit speciality is a plus.
- Team player with initiative, a critical and analytical mind.
- Communicative, eager to learn, and looking to develop and grow.
- Available for a full‑time internship of at least five weeks.
- Fluent in Dutch and/or French, and in English.
- Good listener and able to present a school certificate confirming that the internship is part of your education.
