About the Role

Our client is a globally recognised technology-driven organisation operating a large-scale connected platform used by thousands of customers worldwide. They are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join a high-performing team responsible for developing and evolving a complex cloud-based platform that integrates data, devices, applications, and business processes.

The Opportunity

You will act as the key link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are understood, prioritised, and translated into functional specifications that can be successfully delivered.

Working closely with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and other stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in shaping platform capabilities, integrations, and future enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements
• Translate complex business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered
• Define and support system and integration requirements
• Participate in workshops, refinement sessions, and solution discussions
• Support prioritisation and validation activities throughout the development lifecycle
• Act as a trusted advisor to both business and technical stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for process and platform improvements

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a highly analytical professional who can comfortably operate in both business and technical environments.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 4+ years' experience in a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables
• Experience working closely with software development teams
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and backend applications
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure and/or AWS
• Familiarity with software development concepts and practices
• Exposure to Python, data platforms, or engineering environments
• Understanding of Kafka or event-driven architecture principles
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
• Fluent English communication skills
