For a consultancy assignment with a leading player in the Belgian energy sector, we are looking for a Project Leader Substations. In this role, you will contribute to the realization, expansion, and modernization of high-voltage infrastructure within the transmission grid. You will be involved in projects from the conceptual phase through to final delivery, combining technical expertise with project coordination and site supervision.
We are specifically looking for a medior profile: an engineer who has already gained several years of experience in engineering, infrastructure projects, or site supervision and is eager to further develop within complex high-voltage projects.
Your Responsibilities
- Contribute to infrastructure projects for high-voltage substations, from the definition phase through to administrative closure.
- Perform and follow up on technical studies, designs, and engineering activities.
- Carry out technical calculations and analyses.
- Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets and schedules.
- Prepare tender dossiers and support procurement activities.
- Coordinate site activities in collaboration with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, planning, and budget requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Report on project progress and key milestones.
- Act as the main point of contact between the various project stakeholders.
Depending on your experience, you will manage projects independently or receive guidance from experienced colleagues. In addition, you will have access to an extensive training program to further strengthen your technical and project management expertise.
Profile
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or equivalent through experience.
- Several years of relevant experience in project management, engineering, or site supervision.
- Interest in high-voltage installations and the energy sector.
- Native or professional fluency in French.
- Knowledge of Dutch is considered a strong asset.
- Strong sense of responsibility and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communicator, customer-oriented, and assertive.
- Team player with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ambition to further develop within complex technical infrastructure projects.
What Can You Expect?
As a consultant at DPS Group Global, you will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful energy infrastructure projects in a technically challenging environment. You will further develop your skills as a project engineer while gaining experience on large-scale high-voltage projects.
You will work in a hybrid setup, with a minimum presence of two days per week at the office or project site.
