Telecom Technician

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain telecom networks
• Dig trenches and place cables
• Install street cabinets and network components
• Connect, measure, and test cables
• Work according to safety rules and report your work

Schedule & Leave

You follow the official construction calendar of the Brussels‑Halle‑Vilvoorde district: 20 statutory vacation days + 12 ADV days = approximately 32 days of leave per year.

Typical schedule: 4 weeks of construction leave in the summer, 2 weeks around Christmas & New Year, and a few individual days. Your vacation is mostly fixed, making planning easy.

Qualifications

• No diploma wall, but you must be able to handle a challenge.
• Technical background or experience.
• Driver’s license B (C is a nice bonus).
• No fear of heights.
