You are a highly motivated simulation engineer with expertise in numerical modelling of microfluidic systems, who drives innovation in advanced liquid cooling technologies and multi-physics applications.

What you will do

  • Perform CFD simulations and modelling to support the design and optimization of advanced liquid cooling technologies for microelectronic systems.
  • Use commercial software, such as ANSYS Fluent, and self-developed codes to build advanced workflows and parameterised models.
  • Leverage multi-physics modelling to enable innovation and enhance the understanding of the underlying physics of complex systems, for example in life-science applications.
  • Work within multiple parallel projects and manage priorities according to milestone‑driven schedules.
  • Guide and support colleagues in simulation strategies and interpretation of results.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and micro/nanofabrication experts.
  • You hold a PhD in engineering, physics, or a related field and relevant industry experience is considered a plus.
  • You have strong experience in CFD simulations and numerical modelling.
  • You are proficient with commercial simulation tools such as ANSYS Fluent, have developed your own codes, and have experience in programming languages such as Python, C++, or others.
  • You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable combining analytical and numerical approaches.
  • You have experience working in a research and development environment with an interdisciplinary team.
  • You are a team player with excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

Languages: English – Level Excellent

Additional Information
