- Analyze, challenge and clarify business and customer requirements
- Define concepts and manage planning for preliminary analysis and design phases
- Perform functional analysis of information systems
- Translate business needs into detailed functional designs
- Develop functional specifications and requirements for customer needs
- Work closely with development teams through development, testing and production
- Support changes, enhancements and new functionalities through production
- Recommend and implement system enhancements and improvements
- Analyze service requests and assess feasibility, technological changes, resources and timelines
- Support system upgrades and resolve issues related to existing applications
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to align solutions with business objectives
- Maintain functional documentation and document requirements and system changes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Functional Analyst or in a similar role
- Proven experience in functional analysis and functional design of information systems
- Strong experience working with Agile methodologies
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Experience working with business stakeholders and technical/development teams
- Good understanding of software development processes and IT environments
- Experience with SQL/DQL
- Knowledge of DB2, MySQL and PostgreSQL databases
- Familiarity with JSON / JavaScript Object Notation
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Dutch, French and English (trilingual)
