Site ITOT AI Champion

Overview

Location: Puurs, België. Relocation support is not offered; please only apply if accessible. This role is at Novartis and focuses on leading the future of work by accelerating the adoption of AI and agent-driven solutions across the site in Puurs and beyond, strengthening teams with scalable technologies and fostering an innovative culture.

Responsibilities

• Steer the end‑to‑end adoption of AI and agent‑driven solutions within the site and align with global processes, embedding AI‑supported ways of working in daily operations to achieve sustainable productivity and efficiency gains.
• Build AI literacy within IT, OT and business teams through training, coaching and practical use cases.
• Develop, test and scale no‑code and low‑code AI solutions in collaboration with end users and stakeholders.
• Identify and prioritise high‑value opportunities with site leadership and drive delivery, scaling and sustainable adoption of agentive and AI solutions.
• Advocate the adoption of globally available agentive and AI platforms, while continuously communicating site requirements, gaps and improvement opportunities to global product back‑logs.
• Implement governance, monitoring and reporting of AI initiatives, including measurable business impact.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure data, platform, integration and security readiness and enable data self‑service capabilities for sites.
• Lead change management and encourage a culture where staff actively embrace AI in their daily work.

Requirements

• Initial experience with artificial intelligence and a strong interest in applying it in an operational context.
• Demonstrable hands‑on experience with Microsoft Copilot and enterprise AI assistants.
• Experience with no‑code and low‑code platforms such as Power Platform for building AI solutions.
• Insight into data and the use of enterprise systems to create valuable insights and applications.
• Strong analytical ability to measure performance, interpret data and translate AI output into actions.
• Excellent communication and change‑management skills to bring teams along in AI adoption.
• Fluent knowledge of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
