To strengthen the Global Public Affairs DHL Group department, the Brussels office is looking for an intern (m/f/d) from 01.09 to 31.12.2026
Your tasks
- You will support the Public Affairs team in Deutsche Post DHL's Brussels office in analyzing European legislative initiatives and positioning the company in the European political landscape.
- Assess the impact of European legislative initiatives on DHL Group
- Communicating with European, national and third-party organizations as well as specific industry associations of which Deutsche Post DHL is a member.
- Preparation of position papers on European initiatives affecting Deutsche Post DHL.
Your qualifications
- Compulsory internship/voluntary internship in a Bachelor's degree program, gap year or current Master's degree program in political science/management or a comparable degree program (enrollment required) with above-average performance results
- Excellent knowledge of English and another EU language is an advantage
- Very good written communication skills and the ability to translate policy concepts into real results for Deutsche Post DHL
- Good knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams
- You enjoy dealing with different topics and do not hesitate to familiarize yourself with unfamiliar issues.
- You show initiative and can take on responsibility
- Team player who thinks in terms of opportunities and solutions
