Cyber Security Program Manager - Bruxelles (Contract)
Our client, a leading player in the banking sector, is seeking a Cyber Security Program Manager to drive their bank-wide cyber security strategy, with a specific focus on post-quantum cryptography and long-term cryptographic resilience. You will join our client's team as a strategic leader, defining and overseeing a high-impact portfolio of security initiatives, engaging senior stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations and cryptographic standards.
Key Skills & Expertise
- Cyber Security Strategy & Portfolio Management - Define the cyber security initiative strategy, translate it into a prioritized portfolio, and oversee cross-dependencies to deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Roadmap Development & Execution - Develop long-term and short/medium-term roadmaps with clear priorities and budgets, then drive day-to-day delivery, removing impediments and ensuring adherence to master plans.
- Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Knowledge - Apply strong PQC fundamentals (e.g., lattice-based algorithms, hybrid encryption, NIST standardization) to guide cryptographic modernization and resilience.
- Information Security Governance - Lead initiatives aligned with established security frameworks and risk management practices, ensuring compliance with group standards and external guidelines.
- Stakeholder & Executive Engagement - Interact regularly with senior management and ExCo, aggregating input and translating complex topics like quantum risk and PQC transition into clear, actionable memos.
- Governance & Policy Contribution - Support policy improvements and the development of quantum-safe data security frameworks in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Leadership & Communication - Drive success across disciplines, navigate technical uncertainty, and tailor messaging for both executives and technical teams.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills - Break down complex issues such as PQC migration trade-offs, proactively addressing long-term cryptographic risks and immediate vulnerabilities.
- Language Skills - French mandatory (fluent), with professional proficiency in English and Dutch.
- Work Arrangement - Hybrid working model based in Brussels.
