Join our dynamic team as a Collector Front End, where your bilingual skills in Dutch and French will shine In this role, you will engage with customers to understand and resolve payment delays while fostering positive relationships. Your commercial mindset and empathetic approach will guide negotiations and help develop long-term solutions. This interim position offers a full-time commitment with the potential for extension, comprehensive training, and a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

You contact customers by phone who have a light to moderate payment delay;
You inform customers about their outstanding payments and remind them of their payment obligations;
You identify and understand the reasons behind the payment delay;
You encourage customers to regularise their situation by agreeing on payment commitments;
You register and follow up on payment commitments in the relevant systems;
You propose solutions to help customers avoid future payment delays, such as direct debits or standing orders;
You explain the functioning of the relevant banking products, including current accounts, credit cards and personal loans;
You answer customers’ questions and provide clear information about their financial situation;
You maintain a professional, respectful and solution-oriented relationship with customers, including in sensitive situations;
You collaborate with your colleagues to ensure consistent and efficient follow-up of customer files.

Requirements

You have a first experience in customer service, telephone contact, collections or banking;
You are comfortable communicating with customers by phone;
You have strong listening, communication and persuasion skills;
You are proficient in both Dutch and French, with excellent bilingual communication skills;
You are solution-oriented and remain professional in challenging situations;
You work in a structured and accurate manner;
You enjoy working as part of a team and are motivated by achieving objectives.
