Our research

We are looking for a qualified caregiver to accompany an elderly person diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease but who is kind.

About the beneficiary

An elderly person diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, experiencing memory and orientation problems, but retaining a profoundly gentle and caring personality. Despite the illness, she remains smiling, kind to those around her, and attentive to others, often expressing affection through small gestures, warm words, or a soothing look. Her kindness remains constant, even when memories fade or daily life becomes more confusing.

Your missions

Daily care and support:

• Toileting: Help with daily personal hygiene, a nurse comes three times a week for showers.
• Hygiene and appearance: The person is vain, it is important to help her stay well-groomed (hairstyle, clothing).
• Dressing and hygiene: Assist with dressing and hygiene needs. Diapers need to be changed.
• Medications: Administer the medications (pillbox prepared by the family).

Supply :

• Meal preparation: Prepare varied meals; the person eats everything and enjoyed cooking. If possible, they can participate in the preparation.
• Hydration: Encourage regular hydration throughout the day.
• Shopping management: The family takes care of the shopping, the caregiver will simply have to draw up the list of needs.

Mobility:

• Assistance with mobility: The person uses a walker (a platform with four wheels) or moves with arm support. Care is needed to prevent falls.
• Walks: If possible, accompany the person on walks to offer them gentle physical activity.

Household maintenance:

• House and laundry: Ensure the house is cleaned, as well as the washing and ironing of the laundry. The washing machine is located in the basement.

Hobbies: The person enjoys watching television and reading the newspaper, but is not interested in games. Please note, there is a small dog living on the premises.

Required profile :

Required profile :

• Language: The caregiver must speak French. A good cook would be preferable, as the person appreciates good meals and variety in their diet.
• Tranquility: A calm and respectful attitude is required, as the person needs tranquility.
• Character: The person is calm, easy-going, and likes to laugh.

Day of rest: One day off per week, on Tuesday or Friday, when the person goes to the day center (from 9:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m.), with transport provided by their family.

Salary : €1900 net per month, with an advance on holiday pay of €100 net paid monthly into a euro bank account.
