A leading offshore energy developer is seeking an Offshore Permitting & Environmental Officer to support the delivery of major offshore infrastructure projects.
The role will focus on environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, stakeholder management, and ensuring project activities meet all approval and environmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage offshore permits, environmental approvals, and regulatory obligations.
- Coordinate environmental studies, impact assessments, and permit applications.
- Liaise with authorities, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with permit conditions and environmental commitments.
- Support offshore surveys, route studies, and construction activities.
- Prepare reports and provide regulatory and environmental guidance to project teams.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
- Proven experience in offshore energy, marine infrastructure, environmental consultancy, or permitting.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
