As a labeler, you apply correct labels on packaged meat products, ensuring that all product, logistical, and traceability information is clearly and in compliance with applicable regulations on the packaging. You apply labels to packaging using a labeling machine or, where necessary, manually. You check per product whether the correct label is being used. You label type of meat, weight, date, batch number, barcode, allergens, and origin, among other things. You correctly set up the labeling machine and monitor its operation. You adjust the format, position, and content of the label according to the product. You perform basic checks and resolve simple malfunctions or errors. You check the quality and readability of the applied labels. You verify that all information is correctly displayed on the packaging. You immediately report discrepancies or incorrect information to the supervisor or quality department. You ensure that all traceability information is present. You work according to internal procedures, collaborating with other departments and recording necessary data. You coordinate with colleagues from packaging, logistics, and quality assurance. You strictly adhere to hygiene and food safety rules according to HACCP.
Depending on your experience, your wage is between 17 and 17.3 euros per hour.
You choose your vacation days yourself; there is no collective closure.
You will receive thorough training on the job and can take additional courses. You can make use of the company restaurant, with steak and fries on Thursdays. There is room for joint activities, such as padel, and afterward, you can use the shower.
You work accurately, quickly notice deviations, and understand the importance of correct labeling for food safety and customer satisfaction. You have basic computer knowledge, can operate simple machines, and troubleshoot minor malfunctions. You are physically fit, can work standing in a cool environment, and remain error-free under time pressure during peak periods. You communicate clearly with colleagues and work smoothly as part of a team.
