For our office in Wijnegem or Herenthout, we are currently looking for an Electrical Engineering/Automation Project Manager for industrial and commercial projects. We offer a challenging position as a Project Manager within a rapidly expanding multidisciplinary technology group. There are many opportunities for personal development and career advancement.
Function
As a Project Manager, you will assume full responsibility for the financial and technical outcomes of electrical engineering projects, including electrical systems (low voltage), fire detection, network infrastructure, lighting, and more. These projects vary in size and complexity, with budgets ranging up to approximately €1 million.
- You will be responsible for coordinating with all stakeholders both within and outside the ATS Group. Given the size of the group, you can also count on the expertise of and collaboration with various departments (e.g., panel building, fire detection, etc.).
- You also ensure a correct and safe execution of the projects according to the agreed customer expectations.
- You work out the pre-engineering technically, order the necessary critical materials and draw up a project plan.
- You will oversee all aspects of the project to ensure it runs smoothly and meets high-quality standards: electrical engineering, procurement, on-site execution, etc.
- You provide clear instructions to the site manager and employees on site at the customer and you also monitor their implementation.
- You negotiate with suppliers yourself and work with subcontractors if necessary.
- You will also ensure that the work performed is invoiced accurately and on time. You can count on support from the ATS Group’s office staff in this regard.
- You provide input on ongoing projects and concepts to the sales team and report to the CEO.
- You'll be working from our office in Wijnegem or Herenhout.
Profile
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree and relevant experience.
- You work accurately and with an eye for detail and quality.
- You are passionate about electrical engineering.
- You are customer-oriented, communicative and a real team player.
- You have a solid understanding of electro and at least 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer.
- You are a smooth negotiator and have good organisational and administrative skills.
- You think critically and you like to take responsibility.
- You are a strong personality with good motivation and communication skills for managing our employees.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering tools such as Eplan and Caneco is a plus, as well as a basic knowledge of the AREI and the Machinery Directive.
- You speak fluent Dutch, and are comfortable in French and English.
- You are in possession of a driving licence B.
