Responsibilities
- You lead and manage the project in all its aspects; you are responsible for safety, quality, project planning, and the budget.
- You manage contractual documents concerning legal, financial, safety, technical and quality conditions, and check whether necessary permits are present and correct.
- You monitor budgets, project results, financial reporting, and the profitability of the project.
- You manage a team of site managers, operational staff and subcontractors, putting the right person in the right place for every aspect.
- You identify risks and solve problems that might arise.
- As an expert in your field, you manage the technical aspects at the execution stage and advise the operational teams.
- You are the main point of contact for the client.
- You guarantee that the policies regarding safety, health, quality and environment are respected at all times.
Qualifications
- You have an academic or professional master’s degree in civil engineering or electromechanics.
- At least 5 years of relevant international experience, preferably in civil works, utility lines or water treatment plants.
- You are flexible and willing to live and work at one of our project locations abroad (within West‑Africa) for a longer period.
- You have strong organizational and communication skills.
- You are a team player.
- You are proactive, identify problems and risks well in advance and analyze complex situations correctly.
- You thrive in a multicultural environment.
- You are fluent in French and English.
