For one of our leading industrial clients, we are looking for a Subsystem Manager to join an exciting and innovative project environment in Belgium.
As a Subsystem Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating one or more technical subsystems throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will ensure compliance with technical requirements, timelines, budgets, and quality standards while acting as a key interface between engineering teams, suppliers, customers, and project stakeholders.
- Lead the development and integration of the assigned subsystems.
- Define technical requirements and ensure their successful implementation.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including Engineering, Quality, Industrialization, Procurement, Suppliers, and Production.
- Manage technical interfaces between subsystems and ensure seamless integration.
- Monitor project progress in terms of schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.
- Validate technical solutions, design modifications, and associated documentation.
- Support verification, validation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Identify technical risks, define mitigation plans, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Serve as the main technical point of contact for customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies.
- Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent).
- 2 to 10 years of experience in engineering within an industrial environment.
- Previous experience coordinating a subsystem, product, or technically complex scope is considered a strong asset.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary and international teams in a multicultural environment.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Professional proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken).
