Senior Agile Scrum Master
Location: Belgium
Working: Hybrid – 50% onsite / 50% remote
Contract: Long term
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Agile Scrum Master to support a project team working within a Scrum/Agile environment.
You will ensure the effective application of Agile methodology, coach the project team and stakeholders, remove impediments, and protect the team from unnecessary distractions.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews and Retrospectives.
- Coach the team on Agile and Scrum principles.
- Identify and remove blockers and impediments.
- Support team collaboration, self-organisation and continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with Product Owners, business teams and stakeholders.
- Help ensure consistent Agile ways of working across the organisation.
- Participate in Scrum Master communities and share best practices.
Key Requirements
- Strong experience as a Scrum Master in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Experience coaching teams and facilitating Agile ceremonies.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience removing blockers and improving team delivery.
- Scrum Master certification (PSM, CSM or equivalent) is desirable.
- Financial Services experience is desirable.
Location Requirement
- Candidates must be able to work from the client office approximately 50% of the month (typically 2–3 days per week).
