Lawyer - Medical Liability & Insurance Litigation

Robert Half Talent Acquisitions is currently looking for a Lawyer - Medical Liability & Insurance Litigation (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Brussels.

Your role

As a Lawyer (m/f/x), you will take ownership of a portfolio of files relating to liability law, with a particular focus on medical liability and insurance-related disputes.

Your responsibilities

• Managing cases independently from inception to resolution.
• Advising and representing clients in matters involving medical liability, professional liability and civil liability.
• Drafting procedural documents, legal opinions and pleadings.
• Appearing before courts and tribunals.
• Developing litigation strategies and coordinating with clients, experts and other stakeholders.
• Providing practical and strategic legal advice tailored to complex situations.
• Contributing to the continued development of the practice through the quality of your work and client relationships.

Your profile for the Lawyer's position

• Master's degree in Law.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a lawyer.
• Strong expertise in liability law, ideally with significant exposure to medical liability matters.
• Dutch native (or equivalent)
• French proficiency is not required but is an asset given the bilingual environment.
• Pragmatic, rigorous and solution-oriented approach.
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a collaborative attitude.
