As leader of a stress team, you will be in charge of the management of all stress activities within a multidisciplinary project team, from preliminary design up to certification. You will supervise and check all activities delegated to stress engineers (e.g. the creation and/or update of the Finite Element Models, the structural analyses, the redaction of all stress reports…), and represent Sonaca for all stress aspects towards the OEM, the suppliers and/or the partners involved on the project. You will also be accountable for the performance of your team (on-time and on-budget delivery).
Your Profile :
- Master’s degree in mechanical / aerospace engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in structural analysis of aircraft structures
- Minimum 2 years of experience as team leader
Technical Skills:
- Deep knowledge and understanding of structural analysis methodologies (FEM and hand calculations)
- Deep knowledge of Finite Element Modelling
- Good knowledge in Fatigue & Damage Tolerance analyses
- Leadership
- Flexibility & high sense of commitment
- Rigor and attention to detail
- Ability to manage priorities and to work under pressure in a multi-tasks environment
- Creative, open and team spirit mind set
Tools:
- Knowledge in one or more of these would be an asset : SAMCEF, NASTRAN, CATIA V5, Simcenter NX, TeamCenter, Linux.
- Microsoft Office
Language:
Good level in English is mandatory (spoken & written). Speaking other European languages would be a plus.
