Role Description

The Sales Manager Benelux is a full-time, hybrid role based in Belgium, combining on-site client visits with some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for developing and managing sales activities across the Benelux region, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining long-term relationships with electronics manufacturers and related partners.

Day-to-day tasks include

  • prospecting and qualifying leads,
  • conducting customer visits and online meetings,
  • preparing and presenting technical and commercial proposals, and negotiating contracts.

The Sales Manager will collaborate closely with technical staff to understand customer requirements, coordinate demonstrations, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

The role also involves monitoring market trends, attending industry events, and providing feedback to management and suppliers to refine offerings and sales strategies.

Qualifications

  • Strong B2B sales and account management skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and contract negotiation.
  • Technical understanding of electronics production or SMT processes, with the ability to translate complex equipment capabilities into customer benefits.
  • Experience building long-term customer relationships and delivering consultative, solution-oriented sales in an industrial or technology environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Dutche and English; French and/or German is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a regional territory, and balance travel with home-based work in a hybrid setup.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and basic business reporting to track opportunities, forecasts, and customer activities.
  • Previous experience in capital equipment sales, electronics manufacturing, or related sectors is an advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the wider Benelux region.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in sales, engineering, electronics, or business is preferred.
