As a Business Manager for EU Institutions, you lead business growth, manage high-level client relationships, and oversee public sector projects. You guide teams to ensure compliance with European Union regulations, win tenders, and drive strategic success across institutional accounts.
Role Overview
- Job Title: Business Manager (EU Institutions)
- Department: Public Sector / EU Affairs
- Reports to: Managing Director
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relations: Build trusted partnerships with European Commission officials, Parliament members, and agency directors.
- Project Oversight: Monitor project budgets, delivery timelines, and quality standards for all awarded EU contracts.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all business activities, deliverables, and team operations strictly follow EU legal frameworks.
- Market Strategy: Identify emerging EU funding programs, policy changes, and commercial opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- Education: University degree in Business Administration, EU Law, Political Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of business development or account management experience within the EU environment.
- Knowledge: Deep familiarity with EU institutions, financial regulations, and public procurement procedures (TED/SIMAP).
- Skills: Strong negotiation, financial budgeting, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
- Languages: Professional fluency in English; knowledge of French or another official EU language is a strong asset.
