Compliance Lead Belgium | One Benelux Team

A Unique Opportunity to Shape the Future of Compliance

Think beyond Belgium. Lead locally. Influence Benelux.

Are you an experienced compliance professional looking for a role with real impact, visibility and strategic influence? Do you want to go beyond a traditional compliance function and actively contribute to shaping the future of Compliance within an international organization?

As part of the continued evolution of our integrated Benelux Compliance organisation within a leading international insurance group, this role offers a unique opportunity to combine local leadership with cross-border collaboration and to make a lasting impact on our business.

More than a leadership position, this is an opportunity to influence strategy, drive change and contribute to the future direction of Compliance within Allianz Benelux.

At Allianz, we are looking for a Compliance Lead Belgium to play a key role in safeguarding our reputation, strengthening our compliance culture, and supporting sustainable business growth. As a member of our integrated Benelux Compliance Team, you will work across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, helping to shape and further develop Compliance throughout the region.

In this role, you will work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer Benelux, senior management and key stakeholders throughout the organization. You will not only oversee compliance activities in Belgium, but also contribute to strategic cross-border initiatives, knowledge sharing and the ongoing transformation of the Compliance function across Allianz Benelux.

This position offers a high degree of autonomy, broad exposure and the opportunity to make a visible and lasting impact on the organization.

Why this opportunity stands out

This is more than a traditional Compliance Manager role.

As Compliance Lead Belgium, you will:

  • Be a trusted advisor to senior management on key compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Join an integrated Benelux Compliance Team, giving you exposure to a broader and more diverse scope than a purely local role.
  • Collaborate closely with compliance professionals across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
  • Actively contribute to strategic and cross-border projects that shape the future of Compliance within Allianz.
  • Play an important role in strengthening Allianz's compliance culture and embedding ethical business practices throughout the organization.
  • Enjoy significant ownership and autonomy in driving compliance initiatives and influencing decision-making.
  • Help shape the next chapter of Compliance within Allianz Benelux by driving innovation, simplification and continuous improvement.
  • Benefit from extensive learning, development and career opportunities within a leading international insurance group.
