What does a Junior Tax Advisor at Grant Thornton do?

Our Junior Tax Advisors are responsible for a varied range of tasks. Here’s a taste of what you can expect:

  • Act as a trusted advisor for your clients, answering questions on individual and corporate taxation, mergers and takeovers, reorganisations and many more taxation topics.
  • Be in contact with entrepreneurs, managers, and shareholders at a range of companies in diverse sectors, often active in the international context.
  • Build trust with clients from the start through direct contact.
  • Take on responsibilities that grow in line with your progress.

What makes you the Junior Tax Advisor we’re looking for?

You learn most from doing. We expect the following basic skills:

  • Master’s degree in law or economics and completion of a supplementary fiscal programme.
  • Recently completed education or some initial experience in a tax advice office.
  • Understanding of economics and interest in the business world.
  • Flexibility for traveling to our offices and clients.
  • Ambition and an inquiring mind; you will be given every opportunity to progress.
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch (the base language for our client base) and fluency in English.
  • Creativity in finding solutions tailored to your client’s business.
  • Initiative, responsibility, and methodical work style.
