Overview
AI Delivery Scrum Master (Freelance Contractor) – Banking Client in Brussels, Belgium. Hybrid (8 days onsite per month). Rate: 700-900 per day.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive delivery health across one or more AI and Advanced Analytics squads.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies while focusing on predictable, high-quality delivery.
- Partner closely with Product Owners to build and maintain well‑structured, prioritised backlogs.
- Coordinate dependencies across Engineering, Data Science, Architecture, Security and Business stakeholders.
- Remove delivery blockers and proactively manage delivery risks.
- Support AI initiatives where experimentation, changing requirements and evolving data models are part of the delivery lifecycle.
- Monitor delivery health using Agile metrics and KPIs to improve transparency and delivery performance.
- Promote continuous improvement, strong team collaboration and psychological safety.
- Coach squads to increase Agile maturity while remaining focused on execution and delivery outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead or Technical Delivery Lead.
- Hands‑on, delivery‑focused mindset with proven track record of delivering complex initiatives.
- Experience working with Engineering, Data, Cloud or AI delivery teams.
- Comfortable operating in environments with changing priorities, experimentation and ambiguity.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security and Business teams.
- Experience managing delivery risks, dependencies and enterprise governance.
- Knowledge of Agile metrics, delivery forecasting and continuous improvement.
- PSM I (or equivalent certification).
- Nice to have: Experience delivering AI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering or Advanced Analytics initiatives.
- Experience in financial services or another highly regulated environment.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira and ServiceNow.
