Role Description
The Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Wavre, responsible for overseeing daily store operations and ensuring an excellent customer experience. This role manages staff scheduling, supervises team performance, and supports training to maintain high service standards and product knowledge. The Store Manager monitors inventory levels, coordinates product displays, and ensures accurate pricing and merchandising aligned with brand guidelines. They manage cash handling procedures, oversee loss prevention activities, and maintain compliance with health, safety, and food quality regulations. The role also involves analyzing sales reports, implementing promotional activities, and collaborating with management to achieve revenue and customer satisfaction targets.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in Store Management, including team supervision, operational oversight, and inventory control.
- Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with experience creating a welcoming and efficient in-store experience.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with customers, team members, and management.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including minimizing shrinkage, monitoring store procedures, and ensuring compliance.
- Previous experience in retail or food service environments, ideally in a supervisory or management role.
- Ability to work on-site in Wavre, with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and common office software (e.g., spreadsheets, email, reporting tools).
- Relevant education in business, retail management, hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.
