Our client, a prominent organization in the public sector, is looking for a project manager to strengthen their data and digitalization team. This professional oversees end-to-end ICT projects, ranging from data platform modernizations to the implementation of new digital solutions within a complex organizational landscape.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans while monitoring scope, timing, budget, risks, and dependencies.
- Coordinate collaboration between business stakeholders, internal ICT teams, and external vendors.
- Facilitate decision‑making processes and escalated critical issues to steering committees when necessary.
- Provide transparent reporting on project status, risks, and quality to program management.
- Support the business in achieving strategic objectives through data‑driven initiatives and process optimization.
- Apply standardized project management methodologies to ensure professional and consistent delivery.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a project manager in infrastructure or software development projects.
- You bring a proven track record in complex organizational environments and the public sector.
- You possess professional experience in managing external vendors and integration partners.
- You have expertise in project management methodologies such as Prince2 or PMBok.
- You're experienced with data tools including Cognos, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft Purview or data governance.
- You possess strong skills in management reporting and steering committee facilitation.
- You are proactive and solution-oriented.
- You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with data, cloud, or digitalization trajectories.
- Knowledge of Jira, Planner Premium, and MS Project.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and Power BI.
- Experience with risk management and issue management techniques.
