In this laboratory‑based position, you will join a team of experts in Gas Chromatography (GC), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and analytical development. You will develop and validate robust analytical methods for purity determination in Raw Materials, Starting Materials, Intermediates, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and Drug Products, directly contributing to patient safety and the successful launch of new therapies.
Your missions
- Coordinate and execute analytical gas chromatographic activities, including method development, validation and transfer, to ensure the required quality attributes for the projects in scope.
- Contribute to the expansion of the team’s analytical expertise towards new modalities and innovative analytical approaches.
- Actively participate in the assessment, selection and implementation of newly marketed GC methodologies, technologies and equipment.
- Independently manage assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines, priorities and team deliverables.
- Apply state‑of‑the‑art scientific and technical knowledge to guarantee the quality and reliability of results, particularly during investigations and troubleshooting.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, GMP standards and safety procedures in all laboratory activities.
- Prepare, review and maintain accurate GMP documentation, including analytical raw data, protocols, reports and method files, ensuring data integrity and audit‑readiness at all times.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biomedical Laboratory Technology or a related scientific field is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant academic or industry experience in an analytical laboratory is preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong results‑ and performance‑driven mindset, with attention to detail and quality.
- Technical knowledge of gas chromatographic systems and related physicochemical analytical techniques.
- Experience in GC method development, validation and transfer in support of API process research, in‑process control and/or GMP investigational testing.
- Working understanding of laboratory operations, equipment handling and routine analytical practices.
- General awareness of cGMP regulations and practical experience in applying these in a laboratory environment.
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing project needs.
