What will you do?

To help deliver and support our customised cloud and hosting solutions, we are looking for an additional colleague to join our SRE team. The team currently consists of around 17 colleagues.

The SRE team (Site Reliability Engineering) is responsible for operational customer support, as well as the platforms that make this possible. There is a strong focus on automation. Through your close monitoring and follow-up, you ensure that our operational infrastructure functions optimally.

Depending on your experience and interests, you can work as a generalist or choose to specialise further. You will work across a wide range of technologies, including containers, automation and traditional hosting environments.

• Take responsibility for the optimal management and uptime of our server infrastructure, including setting up, managing and supporting customer environments.

• On the one hand, you will work on projects and the delivery of customer environments; on the other, you will provide in-depth technical support to customers.

• Contribute to the further development of our automation platform.

• Act as the point of contact for customers with custom solutions environments (cloud, dedicated servers, firewalls, load balancers, etc.).

• Register and analyse issues and, through targeted questioning, gather as much additional information as possible. Based on this information, you provide a fast and customer-focused solution. You ensure proper follow-up and communication with the customer and contribute to continuously improving customer satisfaction.

• Develop solutions based on predefined requirements. Take responsibility for implementation, documentation and handover.

• Monitor and maintain the operational infrastructure (backups, patching, monitoring, servers going offline, maintenance, etc.).

• Escalate highly complex issues in a timely manner.

Who are you?

• You have a passion for IT and want to continue developing your skills in a Linux environment. The Linux command line is your second home

• You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Dutch is your native language and you are fluent in English. Excellent spelling and written communication come naturally to you.

• You are analytical, detail-oriented and results-driven.

• You like to take ownership and are proactive. You are able to work well under pressure and are flexible.

• You enjoy working as part of a team.
