Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem & Steenokkerzeel, Belgium), specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. To support the continued growth and ramp-up, we are looking for an Operations Manager .

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you are responsible for the overall management and performance of our LEAP Engine LSO activities. You lead the LSO Operations and Repair process, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant operations while meeting customer expectations on quality, delivery and cost.

You play a key role in developing our LEAP engine capabilities and supporting the strategic growth of our business. Working closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production Support and Engine Owners, you ensure operational excellence throughout the entire process.

Your role:

Operations Management

  • Lead and manage the LEAP Engine Shop Visit and Repair activities.
  • Ensure safe, efficient and compliant operations while meeting quality, cost and delivery targets.
  • Coordinate activities with Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Support and Production Support teams.
  • Drive load-capacity balance and support production planning activities.

Leadership

  • Lead, coach and develop the LSO Operations team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Promote the Safran Together leadership principles.

Safety & Quality

  • Ensure compliance with HSE, aviation regulations and Safran standards.
  • Promote a strong safety and quality culture throughout the organization.
  • Participate in audits and drive corrective actions where required.

Continuous Improvement

  • Support the development and ramp-up of our Operations.
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Drive operational excellence in collaboration with Lean and Continuous Improvement teams.
