Function
Our client is looking for a technical consultant to support the expansion of a financial data warehouse. This is a temporary consulting opportunity within an environment where core applications and integration layers support institutional operations. The assignment focuses on adding a new data source to an existing warehouse structure, including the related impact on dimensions and facts.
Responsibilities- Extend an existing financial data warehouse with a new source system.
- Assess and implement the impact on existing dimensions and fact tables.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes for data integration and transformation.
- Contribute to reporting and dashboarding activities in Power BI.
- Translate business needs into data-driven insights, with a strong understanding of financial data.
- Strong experience in data warehousing and data modelling.
- Advanced ETL expertise.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), developed through the Visual Studio Integration Services Projects Extension.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
- Experience with Power BI reporting for building reports and dashboards.
- Experience handling financial data is a strong plus.
- Technical consultant with a solid background in warehouse development.
- Strong analytical mindset and able to work with existing data models and structures.
- Comfortable working in environments where business requirements must be translated into reliable technical solutions.
- Experience in the non-profit or academic sector is an advantage.
- Work arrangement: at least 2 days per week on-site.
- Languages: Dutch and English.
