Mission

As a member of the Engineering & Supply Chain team, you'll be working across different business units (Industrial solutions, Proton-therapy and RadioPharma Solutions). You will be involved in various lifecycle phases of product development (in particular upgrade management on installed base, from scratch development for new product, new site deployment,…).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the implementation, support and quality of the complete control system solution
  • Document the control system implementation
  • Write, execute and maintain unit test cases, define and execute integration tests
  • Develop software solutions by understanding and challenging business needs
  • Support internal and external customers
  • Deploy and upgrade control systems on site and in factory
  • Provide and respect estimations for workload and deadlines
  • Review outcomes produced by other team members and propose improvements. Support team and feature, by providing one’s own expertise according to one’s domain
  • Follow best practices and rules defined at IBA. Challenge them and propose improvements

Qualifications

You have:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, automation bachelor or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in automation (development and support)
  • Analytical and critical mind, expertise in providing efficient solutions while respecting the project schedule and product/Business Line strategy
  • Team player and creative mindset
  • Experience with SCADA (Archestra, PCVue)
  • Willing to learn new technologies and new software methodology
  • PLC & Safety PLC programming (Siemens STEP7 and TIA Portal, B&R)
  • Industrial communications based on Profibus-DP, PROFINET, S7, and other industrial protocols
  • Willing to travel 10% (international)

  • Result focused, able to understand and satisfy internal/external customers
  • Experienced in working on projects under a structured Quality Management System frequently audited by regulatory authorities
  • Easy going and fluent in English
  • Competent in creating high quality technical documentation
  • Able to work on projects in collaboration with a team and with various stakeholders
  • Autonomous and self-motivated
