At Dekimo Experts, we support our clients in carrying out innovative projects in the fields of embedded systems, electronics, and cutting‑edge technologies. We work on engineering and R&D projects with a strong technological focus, in demanding environments—often real‑time—at the heart of Industry 4.0 challenges.
With over 40 years of experience, we are part of a Belgian group with an international reach, firmly established in Belgium and also present in the Netherlands, France, and Germany. Our consultants contribute to a wide range of projects in cutting‑edge sectors such as aerospace, mobility, medtech, energy, and manufacturing.
Role overview
- Support electrical and electronics subsystem design for spacecraft missions, including power electronics, sensor interface, digital hardware and embedded software.
- Support all aspects of the development chain: specification, design, integration, test, operations, and maintenance
- Support design reviews to ensure requirements and interface compliance
- Work on digital and analog embedded hardware
- Develop test plans that ensure adequate testing of units and the complete system
- Work in a small growing team of electronics engineers in charge of the spacecraft electronics
- Be in contact with a multidisciplinary team of flight software, FPGA developers and mechanical engineers
Must have
- MSc in Electrical Engineering, Electro‑mechanical Engineering or related field
- No work experience or a first work experience
- Ability to work across the team and company to drive designs to completion
- Willing to learn
- Good communication
- Good English knowledge
Nice to have
- A passion for technology and rapid execution of sophisticated space missions
- Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, C, C++,...)
- Experience with PCB design, assembly, debug and system level testing methodologies
- Proficiency with common industry electronic design software
