We're looking for a senior DevOps engineer to turn existing media infrastructure into a reliable self-service platform. You'll simplify complex systems and automate application deployment.
What you'll do
- Analyse existing systems, workflows, integrations and dependencies.
- Build secure self-service platform services around other teams' needs.
- Automate media application deployments.
- Maintain infrastructure and resolve issues identified through proactive monitoring.
- Document processes and share technical findings clearly.
What you bring
- Five years as a Linux System Engineer or in a comparable role.
- Three years with containers and container orchestration (Docker/Podman, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
- Structured analysis and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical or engineering bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent ICT experience.
- Dutch, C2.
Nice to have
- RHEL, Ansible automation platform and Foreman.
- Three years with Ansible; Python scripting and Git.
- Five years with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or Bitbucket).
- Monitoring with CheckMK, Nagios or similar; Scrum or Kanban.
- File transfer and workflow automation (Aspera Orchestrator, IBM Arema or similar).
- MAM/PAM systems and mediatech experience.
- Responsible use of AI tools, considering security and accuracy.
- Cloud experience (preferably AWS) or Infrastructure as Code with Terraform (two years).
- ELK stack and Grafana.
- Clustered storage, such as IBM Spectrum Scale or Dell PowerScale.
- Jira, Confluence, virtualisation and RedHat IDM.
