We are looking for a skilled & passionate human resources lead to run HR programs across the company - everything from recruiting, onboarding and team building to performance management and compensation. You will work, side-by-side, with our leadership team to cultivate a positive work environment. You will be required to acquire new talent, provide orientation and ensure employees’ concerns are addressed. Your projects will be your own to handle as long as they fit into the organization's objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily management of all HR activities, primarily managing the administration of company programs, policies and procedures.
- Function as a hands-on, strategic partner to the business while designing and implementing a scalable HR strategy.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the business and culture inside and out so that you are able to provide strategic HR partnership to the business leaders and the teams you support.
- Lead the hiring flow and the recruitment process. Identify priorities and develop a talent acquisition strategy to fill the openings.
- Have the know-how to identify the resource need, source, screen, acquire, onboard and retain best resources to be part of Venly’s growth journey.
- Maintain a database of job descriptions, assist in crafting job postings and employment ads.
- Partner with external vendors in building the hiring talents funnel and develop creative sourcing/headhunting techniques in getting extraordinary talents.
- Champion candidate experience. Regardless of the result, leave an excellent and professional candidate experience at all times.
- Own the evaluation and maintenance of HR systems, including but not limited to - performance management, employee engagement, onboarding, offboarding, team building, L&D, compensation, and benefits & perks.
- Partner closely with the broader Operations team (Recruiting, Finance, Legal, etc.) to ensure our people operations programs, processes, and systems align with our business goals and manage risk appropriately.
- Develop and implement new human resource policies. Create company policies that will encourage a healthy work environment.
- Oversee HR metrics and document the observations for future policymaking reference. Evaluate established processes and day to day work operations for continuous improvement.
- Act with the employee experience top of mind, continuously seeking feedback, inefficiencies, and maintaining business relationships based on trust and respect.
- Act as a point of contact for employees and provide support for various subjects such as leaves, compensations, and resolving problems.
- Prepare periodic reports for management with recommendations and trends.
- Ideate and collaborate with teams on HR projects.
Qualifications:
- A degree in human resource management, organizational psychology, business, management or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in HR management, covering different aspects of the HR function & owning HR Operations in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience partnering with international, distributed teams.
- Knowledge of global employment law compliance is a plus.
- Well-versed in various leave policies, such as FMLA, parental and vacation etc.
- Analytical expertise; proficient with data-driven analysis as it relates to HR/People.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively influence and must have a thorough understanding of HR policies and best practices.
- Entrepreneurial in spirit with solid organizational skills and the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment. Strong project management and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills & proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
- Active team player, self-starter, and multitasker with a process-oriented mindset who can quickly adjust priorities.
- General understanding of the blockchain & NFT space.
- Experience in the crypto industry is a plus.
