Industrial Competency Center Manager
At the Tubize site, you will join more than 350 colleagues recognized by domestic and international partners for expertise on products such as Radio Frequency (RF) Products, C4ISR, Crypto Global Solution, MACS (Aeronautical Intercom) and many others.
Your mission
As Industrial Competency Center Manager (ICC), you are in charge of the production and industrialisation activities of Tubize and its satellite sites. You will ensure the competitiveness and transformation of production and repair lines and you will be responsible for cost, inventories and operational optimisation.
Your Responsibilities
- Define and deploy the industrial strategy, including the human, financial and physical resources needed to ensure its proper implementation.
- Organise the ICC, structure the APRUs and their support functions (Supply Chain, Process Engineering, Lean & Performances).
- Manage the physical flows & related information (ERP) for all activities, from preparation to fulfillment of procurement, production and delivery.
- Ensure a successful industrialisation (Product maturity level, QCTP expected from new industrial products).
- Manage delivery performance by implementing Lean approaches.
- Define the necessary industrial means and ensure their implementation (Footprint, MTB, etc.). Support investments (CAPEX) and control organisational and functional area costs (cost matrix).
- Support the Business Continuity Management plan.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual framework.
- Manage the HR aspects of your team (objective setting, check‑ins, recruitment, etc.) and develop the skills of your teams.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
Qualifications
- Master degree in Engineering or any other related field.
- 20 years of professional experience in different technical environments, with proven experience in an industrial context (Production, Industrialisation, Supply Chain) ideally in both mechanical parts & electronics.
- A proven 5‑7 years of management experience (hierarchical, cross‑functional, project mode, etc.) in an international environment.
- Fluency in French (C1) and English (B2) (written, read & spoken). Dutch is an asset.
- Ability to engage and empower teams toward a common goal.
- Experience in change management in a similar context.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement tools & routines (Field Tour, 5S, Problem Resolution, VSM, PDCA, etc.).
