Mercor is seeking a meticulous Japanese transcription and annotation specialist to work on a dataset project focused on Japanese texts, including kanji, kana and furigana. You will annotate page structure, transcribe faithfully, and review a second expert's work to ensure character-level accuracy.
Work involves confirming pages are in Japanese, handling vertical text and complex layouts, and capturing metadata such as language and page dimensions. Prior document-intensive experience is valued.
